Visual Studio 2010 Professional Free Download For Windows 7 32 Bit

I have been trying to install an ISO of Visual Studio 2010 Pro on Windows 7 Pro 32-bit at work. The ISO was obtained by our Software Manager and made available to me.

Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime (32-bit) is required to run Microsoft Office based solutions built using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. For Windows The 3 Free Microsoft.

I mounted the ISO and copied the content to my PC and removed the mount stuff. I run the setup.exe as Administrator with barely nothing running on my PC (other than what would initially) and get the inital dialog asking to install or search for updates. The update button is grayed as I haven't installed yet.

I click on Install and the main, familiar, Visual Studio setup dialog appears. Whilst it loads components, I uncheck the 'Share setup experience' box. Once the components are loaded, the Next button becomes available. This is where it gets odd: 1. If I look in Task Manager, I have two setup.exe entries, both labelled Suite Integration Toolkit executable. One is using around 2MB of memory and seems hung on zero CPU. The other is using between 35% and 50% CPU (actually one full CPU on my dual core PC) and consumes about 1.5MB more memory every second.

(I did watch this go to 750MB before aborting, it would continue till I ran out of memory I assume) 2. If I click Next, it takes over 5 minutes for the licence agreement to click and the program becomes very unresponsive.

For example, if I click the accept licence radio button, this won't register the click and become blobbed for 2 minutes or more. All whilst this happening, the cursor and round Windows 7 wait thing is flickering between just the arrow and the arrow with circle. I haven't proceeded further as this doesn't seem right. Hi Simon, Welcome to the MSDN forum.

According to your description, your installation of Visual Studio 2010 hangs at the first step. About the first thing you have discovered, that you found two entries in Task Manager, this is right during the Visual Studio installation. If you look into the VS installer folder, you can find two executable file: autorun.exe which you use to start the installation, and setup.exe which is used to install Visual Studio. These two programs are just what you found in Task Manager.

You can follow below step the get the installation goes correctly: 1. Please make sure the install image file you have is correct. Has this file been used to install Visual Studio successfully before? You can download the Visual Studio 2010 Professional Trial – ISO from: 2. You can either: - Mount the image file a virtual drive and run the installation from the virtual drive; - Use a 3rd party tool to extract the contents of the image (like ISOBuster) and run the installation from the hard disk. Before install Visual Studio, please finish the steps below: - Turn off your anti-virus/antispyware software during installation; - Install the latest Windows updates from the Windows Update site:; - Complete or dismiss Windows Update before installation. (And don't forget to turn it on later) 4.

Clean your%temp% folder ( Start Menu Run Type '%temp%); 5. Install Visual Studio 2010 with Administrator privilege. If the installation fails again, collect the logs from '%temp%' folder with the Log Collection Tool.

Collect tool: - Then you can send the vslogs.cab file to me for further advice (E-mail: ). Note: Please attach the link of this post in the mail. Additionally, another useful tool is the Process Monitor tool: which can capture the access log. Filter on the process name in the log so that you see only the related list. This should give you more info on what are the registry keys/ files being accessed when the error happens. If above steps not work, please feel free to let me know.
